Inspiration is the word that comes to mind when I think of Gabrielle Spangler. This dynamic young woman radiates success, maturity, and determination. At such an exciting young age of 22, this ball of fire has successfully opened her own unique store. MANCODE, that opened in August of 2013, is a fun, fashionable, and fabulously trendy clothing store, for men, with a business casual feel, and is located on Phillips Ave., in downtown Sioux Falls.
The store is getting ready for this holiday season, “I look forward to women having a new place to find their men new gifts for the holidays and men being able the wear an outfit that they love to holiday parties!” Spangler said.
When asked how she wanted to portray herself to others as a business owner, Spangler did not hesitate when she answered confidently “To make an honest living for myself and to give others work as well." Balancing life and work has been the most challenging part of opening and running a new business for this young woman. “I’m newly engaged so, it was like a wrecking ball the first month.” Said Spangler.
Man Code has a business trendy feel to it catering primarily to downtown businessmen generally between the ages of 25-40 years of age. All of the clothing lines are hand-picked by Gabrielle herself from designers in Chicago, Dallas, and New York including Jared Lang, an upscale designer from Montreal Canada who’s objective is to create an exclusive lifestyle that has not been introduced yet in men and women’s shirts. “You have to be prepared to be knocked down and develop a tough skin. Be prepared to prove your self.” Said Spangler to those aspiring to open their own business.
